The Goddess Guide
Everything you need to know about channeling your inner Goddess.
What to wear
Take a little wander through the client wardrobe and choose up to three pieces you’d love me to bring along on the day. When you arrive, it helps to wear a dress or something easy to slip out of once we reach our location.
A simple white, black, or beige bikini works beautifully underneath. I personally love when the natural shape of the body can be seen through fabric — it feels honest and feminine — but your comfort always comes first. If you’d prefer a little more coverage, nipple covers work perfectly. If you’d like extra support, a bra is absolutely fine too, as long as it isn’t peeking out.
Chunky gold jewellery or a bold statement piece can add a lovely finishing touch. And if you want that sun-kissed glow, a little body oil or shimmer can look stunning in the light.
For hair and makeup, think natural and effortless. Perfectly ironed curls usually aren’t the vibe here — we’re leaning more toward wild, soft, and free.
If you’d like professional hair and makeup, Luckie is wonderful. She offers my clients a special VIP rate of $165. You can find her on Instagram at @makeupbyluckie_.
Once we start taking photos you wont be wearing shoes, but you may need them getting into the location. I find crocs are good for rocks by the beach, as its okay for them to get wet and they have a bit of grip.
Posing
You absolutely don’t need to arrive knowing how to pose. Almost everyone feels a little shy or awkward at the start — that’s completely normal. After a little while though, something shifts… you relax, your confidence grows, and sometimes you even start showing off a little.
I use a lot of flow posing, which simply means we keep things moving — playing with your hair, soft movements through the arms, shifting energy while your body stays relaxed.
If you’d like to get a feel for it beforehand, here are a few poses you can try in the mirror:
